On Wednesday 17 June I went to Eastwood Public Schooland performed in the Multicultural Public Speaking Competition! I was very nervous, but I was glad I did It because it was a great experience. It was also an opportunity that lots of students don't get to experience. The hardest thing we had to do was the unprepared speech. They took all the contestants to the library and one by one we went in to do our speech. There was three girls in the room timing us because we only had 5 minutes to make up the speech! The topic was memories. When we made up the speech one by one we went back to the hall to perform our speech. I was the first speaker in the prepared and unprepared!
After I had presented my speeches, I felt relived and proud of myself because it was a great achievement and it proved to me that you can achieve anything that you set your mind to!
