2009 Theme: 'BUILDING COMMUNITY HARMONY'

The theme supports one or more of the following aspects highlighted by Harmony Day:

• A society that promotes tolerance and understanding between different cultural and ethnic groups and respects the language, culture and religion of minority groups

• A society that encourages respect for difference and rebukes humiliation of groups or individuals perceived to be different

• A society that is dedicated to combating prejudice and discrimination

• A society that recognises the qualities of different cultural and ethnic groups

• A society that promotes access and equity for minority and/or disadvantaged groups

• A society that is considerate and has support and understanding for those who are less fortunate

• A society that does not discriminate against individuals or groups on the basis of religion, gender, ethnic origin or age

• A society opposed to vilification, hate mongering and violence.

Moshi Monsters - Adopt Your Own Pet Monster!
Moshi Monsters is a brand new online game where you can adopt your very own pet monster. Each one has a lively, unique personality that develops the more ...(you don't need to pay to play except When you want to be a member).

It is a very good educational site.You need to get ROX (money in the game) to buy food and clothes etc for your monster in the game. When your running low on ROX you have to play puzzle games either at Puzzle palace or in your room there should be button that says PUZZLE on it.

To go out to the shops or Puzzle palace click the door. A map Should appear on the screen. Click where you want to go. moving your monster is simple just click where you want go. When you run out of room to go just move the cursor on it.(To acess food and Furniture Click the treasure Box at your HOME. To acess Clothes press the dressing on your map). Hope you have fun

The rural fire brigade came to visit. What an excellent job they do and what fun we had!

Clean Up Australia Day

Our School was presented with a new NSW flag by Ryde Mayor Vic Tagg and local memeber Victor Dominello. We reflected on Bush Fire victims and congratulated our SRC and a group of hardworking students on their fundraising efforts.
We also reinforced the importance of looking after our enviornment before we cleaned up our environmental areas.
